Going to university?

Crawley parents and carers packed the Arora Hotel, Gatwick, to learn how they can help their children choose the right university.

24 July 2018

The Sussex Learning Network (SLN), a partnership of universities, colleges, training providers and guidance agencies, hosted the National Collaborative Outreach Programme event which focused on how to guide Year12 students into Higher Education.

Parent University Ambassadors from Crawley who support children at university told of their journeys into higher education, and there were talks on student finance, how to choose a university and on the application process.

The SLN’s Fay Lofty said: “We were delighted to bring university life closer to Crawley and we will be repeating the evening for parents and carers of Year13 students in September.”
